Annie Carothers

Annie teaches all levels of science, but has a particular passion for Environmental Science. Annie graduated from the University of Redlands with a BA in Environmental Science and Race and Ethnic studies, and received her MA in Education from the University of Denver. She also holds certificates in online instruction from San Diego State University. Annie has been in education for 20 years. She has taught math and science, been a Dean of Education, worked with student council and yearbook, and supervised multiple student clubs like Academic Decathlon and Environmental Awareness Club. Most recently, she was the Head of Educational Programs and Services at Futures Academy – Beverly Hills.

When not in the classroom, Annie enjoys being outdoors hiking and camping. She is in the process of converting a school bus into an RV so that she can spend vacations traveling around the states and visiting National Parks.
