Fusion Education Group and Nexus Teen Academy share the goal of helping adolescents thrive as they navigate their academic and social-emotional journeys. Fusion understands that Nexus resident’s primary focus must be on one’s medical and psychological well-being. Academic progress is also a vital facet of an adolescent’s sense of self and wellness.
To that end, every Nexus resident will be given an academic assessment called IXL. IXL is a flexible diagnostic tool that reveals exactly what students know. IXL’s Real-Time Diagnostic pinpoints students’ grade-level proficiency in key math and English language arts strands. From this data, Fusion and Nexus’ education department will form recommendations for a customized plan to close learning gaps and facilitate meaningful progress.
Our classes feature 1-to-1 instruction that facilitates comfort and confidence, while our adaptive learning approach encourages students to reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

Fusion Academy has 80 campuses across the country. Our schools offer one-to-one classes and each has a Homework Café where students can finish their homework and socialize.
Fusion Global Academy (FGA) is our 100% virtual school. It has all the features of a Fusion Academy campus but is completely online with live, one-to-one classes and access to our virtual Homework Café and our thriving community, The Global Neighborhood.
Global Anytime allows students to access self-driven courses online whenever they want. It also includes support from FGA teachers and access to the virtual Homework Café and The Global Neighborhood.

Our teacher/mentors care about the social, emotional, and academic success of their students. In the one-to-one setting, they can help students build confidence, manage stress, and process emotions.
Whether in-person or virtual, we intentionally incorporate social opportunities for students to build friendships including groups, field trips, clubs, events, and everyday socialization in our Homework Café.
Some subjects don’t come easily and can become a barrier to moving forward – academically and emotionally. That’s why we offer tutoring across all required subject areas and electives, as well as Executive Functioning and Study Skills.
Catch up, get ahead, or try something new this year at Fusion or Fusion Global Academy. With over 250 course options for middle and high school students, there are plenty of options for students to engage in their education. Courses are taught one-to-one (one student and one teacher) and personalized for the student’s strengths, interests, and learning preferences.
